The moderately priced Legacy Family Tree 4.0 has an easy-to-use interface with pull-down menus. You can add information and customize displays in practically any view. The default Web search options include the most popular genealogy sites, but you can create broader searches and add them to the menu. The software has all the standard charting and reporting features plus some extras. For example, it lets you easily create name tags with short pedigree charts for the next family reunion. Legacy Family Tree is an easy-to-use yet full-featured program at a great price.
